If you’ve ever tried photographing a newborn, you can appreciate how important it is to have a sleepy baby for your session.

Newborns are among the most unpredictable subjects to photograph, and the success of a session largely depends on how long and how deeply the baby sleeps.

Newborn photographers try so hard to put babies to sleep but sometimes babies have other plans for the day.

Loved this session. And look at those big eyes!!! One of my favorite images now is with a purple moon and those eyes.

Look at another baby who fought to sleep. It’s especially fun when there are older siblings.

Baby Adelynn was one month old at the time of the session and she really liked to look around and in my camera.

This baby didn't sleep even in parent's hands!

At least those photos are cute, right?!

Love my job and every precious photo of a new baby in this world!
